In Part 24, while doing an OBE, I was trying to actually go and see myself while I was in the OBE. But every time I tried getting close to my house it would get too foggy to see. So I had one of those quick fleeting thoughts, the kind you should ignore. Instead, I acted upon it. I ran towards the house and leaped over the boxwoods that separated our house from the neighbor’s house. I hit something so hard that I’m sure people heard it. You see, I didn’t land on my feet. I hit my parent’s car that was parked in the driveway. It was foggy and I didn’t plan things out well. Obviously. Anyway, when I gathered my senses and looked around, I was still on the neighbor’s side of the boxwoods. I have no idea how that happened. I was positive I made it over those damn bushes. I got up and tried to walk but my knee took the brunt of the hit and hurt like heck. I felt my jeans and there was a good tear in them and I kinda thought I felt blood. That’s when it dawned on me. I know I hit that car. It’s pretty easy to tell if you’ve hit metal or hit the ground. When I hit that car, it wasn’t like I had another thud of hitting the ground. I hit the car and then found myself on the other side of the bushes – the same side I started from.
Well, with my knee was killing me so I started hobbling back up the street to my friend’s house when I said to myself, “Self, you can’t interact with anyone there so just get out of the OBE.” So I willed myself out of the OBE. As I came out of the OBE and sat up in bed, I looked down at my jeans, and can you imagine what I saw? That’ll have to wait till next week.
